January 21, 2020

West Chicago, IL – Sims Recycling Solutions (SRS), a global leader in IT asset disposition (ITAD) services and cloud recycling, today announced its support for this month’s Data Privacy Day by becoming a ‘champion.’ Data Privacy Day, held annually on Jan. 28, is an internationally recognized effort to encourage dialogue, and empower individuals and companies to take action on promoting the safeguarding of data. As a champion, SRS plans to distribute information regarding data privacy and security both internally and externally.

The National Cyber Security Alliance in North America officially leads Data Privacy Day. It is an international effort held every year to increase awareness and empower individuals and businesses to respect privacy, safeguard data and enable trust. This year, the organization is encouraging all to “Own Your Privacy” by learning more about how to help secure your online data.
