Our in-house assay lab processes samples from customers’ materials to determine precious metal percentages.  Accurate sampling and lab processing is an important step.  What you get paid is directly tied to our ability to effectively evaluate and process material.

Our in-house lab offers fast turn-around times, allowing SLS to provide quick financial settlements for our customers. We offer fire assays, typically available only through smelters.  Fire assays allow us to accurately measure even the smallest amounts of precious metal content.

We broker large volumes of recovered metal and have relationships with global smelters, enabling us to offer our customers the best possible value for their material.

Sims Lifecycle Services (SLS) is a business division of Sims Limited. Sims Limited offers the financial strength and stability you require with a variety of payment options. With an active client base of over 500 accounts, generators of precious metals scrap across the globe entrust the value recovery and payment of their precious metal assets to Sims. When a refinery is managing material of value, it’s always advised to work with a vendor who can be flexible in how they return the value to their customers. Flexibility with financial settlements including refining terms, “per pound” purchases, pool accounts, transfers to fabricators or banks is always useful especially when you’re dealing with materials of concern.
