Responsible Electronics Recycling in New Jersey

Sims Lifecycle Services (SLS) is pleased to offer the citizens of New Jersey proper disposal of their unwanted electronics in support of the New Jersey Electronic Waste Recycling Act. It is important that these devices be managed at the end of their useful lives in such a way as to prevent harm to the environment, the communities in which the devices are disposed and the workers processing the equipment. At the same time, these devices contain material that can be used in the manufacturing of new products. Material such as steel, aluminum, plastic, copper and precious metals can be separated and returned to the marketplace, giving them new life in new products.

Electronic Devices That Can Be Recycled

All of the collection sites will accept, at no cost to the consumers:

  • Unwanted computers
  • Computer Monitors (CRT and LCD)
  • Notebooks and Netbooks
  • Televisions

Many of these sites will also accept other electronics such as printers, DVD players, game consoles, etc. Please check with the collection site nearest you for the types of devices they accept.

We offer free returns for electronics covered under state law. Currently we offer free returns and recycling via a pre-paid UPS label for all devices covered under the state law.
