About This Location
SLS’s Stalybridge Circular Center provides high-capacity, secure and compliant processing of end-of-life IT and WEEE equipment, with the capacity to process 32,000 tonnes of e-waste each year. With advanced shredding equipment capable of 20 tons per hour, downstream separation lines and manual dismantling expertise, the site handles everything from complete high-grade IT scrap (including PC’s, servers and routers) to components (such as circuit boards and hard drives) and pre-processed IT scrap. That scrap is destroyed to the highest industry standards, with witnessed destruction for added security and certificates of destruction. We provide complete reporting of mixed IT scrap loads, and can unpack, scan and perform serial number recording of that scrap if required. For client convenience, materials can be collected directly from sites throughout the UK and Europe and transported to the SLS Circular Center for processing. Located just east of Manchester, one of the UK’s fastest-growing tech and data center hubs, Stalybridge offers a scalable, high-security, and sustainability-driven solution for organizations seeking maximum recovery, compliance and operational efficiency.
As a hybrid facility, Stalybridge delivers both full ITAD services and specialized WEEE recycling, giving clients a single, efficient outlet for secure destruction, serial capture, data wiping, parts harvesting, and compliant material recovery.
